Transparent Pricing. No Hidden Fees.

Most customers pay only the advertised rental price — nothing more.

The situations on this page apply only when special circumstances come up, or when you ask us for something beyond the standard rental. We would rather show you the whole list up front than surprise you later.

What Is Included

Your advertised rental price is a true flat rate. Everything below is already covered — there is no separate line item for any of it.

PickupHauled away at the end of your rental period
Your rental periodThe full number of days quoted on your order
Included disposal weight1 ton on a standard rental — your order confirms your exact allowance
Dump fees & disposalLandfill and transfer-station costs up to your weight allowance
Real customer supportCall us and a person picks up. No charge for asking questions

Fuel, environmental, administrative, and “standard delivery” surcharges are not part of our pricing. We do not add them.

Additional Services You May Request

These are optional. You only pay for them if you ask us for them.

Extra Rental Days $25 per day

Projects run long. If you need the dumpster past your scheduled pickup, just give us a call or reply to your confirmation email and we will extend it at $25 per calendar day.

Only charged when you request it — and arranging it in advance is what keeps it at $25 a day.

If a dumpster stays on site past its scheduled pickup without arrangements, a higher unscheduled rate of $100 per day applies, because that container is committed to another customer. One phone call avoids it entirely — we have never had a customer we could not work with on timing.

Swap-Out Service $250 per swap

If you fill the dumpster before the project is done, we will come out, take the full one away, and bring you an empty one so your crew keeps working.

  • Travel to your site
  • Removal of the loaded dumpster
  • Transport and disposal of the contents
  • Delivery of an empty dumpster in its place
A swap includes a fresh disposal weight allowance. Availability depends on our schedule, so call as early as you can.

Relocating a Dumpster After Placement Quoted first

Need the dumpster moved to a different spot once it is already on site? We can usually do it — it takes a truck and a driver, so we will quote you before we roll. Please never try to move it yourself; these containers are far heavier than they look, and moving one damages driveways and risks injury.

Always quoted and approved by you in advance.

Disposal Weight

Every rental includes a disposal weight allowance — 1 ton (2,000 lbs) on a standard rental. Your order confirmation lists the exact allowance for the service you booked. Most household and cleanout loads finish well under it.

If a load goes over $100 per ton, prorated

We charge for exactly the weight you go over — we do not round up to the next whole ton. That works out to five cents per pound, with a $50 minimum whenever the allowance is exceeded.

How it works out in practice
Load weighs 1,900 lbs — under your allowance$0
Load weighs 2,600 lbs — 0.30 tons over$50 (minimum)
Load weighs 3,620 lbs — 0.81 tons over$81
Load weighs 4,400 lbs — 1.20 tons over$120
Weights come from certified landfill or transfer-station scales — not an estimate by us.

A detailed dump ticket can be provided upon request for any load. If you think a weight looks wrong, call us and we will pull the ticket together.

Concrete and Heavy Materials

Dense material is a different job than household debris, and it is priced separately.

Concrete Disposal Surcharge Shown on your order

Concrete, brick, block, pavers, dirt, sod, and asphalt weigh several times what an equivalent volume of household junk weighs — a dumpster can hit a truck’s legal road limit while it still looks half empty. These materials also have to go to different disposal facilities than mixed debris, at different rates.

Because of that, heavy material carries a Concrete Disposal Surcharge, and it is added when you book so you see it before you pay. The current amount appears on your order confirmation.

  • Load it flat and level — heavy material should never be mounded
  • Keep it separate when you can — clean loads dispose cheaper
  • Tell us up front — we will size the job right and bring the correct container
Always quoted before you book. Never applied after the fact without telling you.

Because of road-weight laws there is a fill limit on dense material: concrete, dirt, brick, block, asphalt and similar dense materials should not exceed approximately one-third (1/3) of the dumpster. If you are not sure, call us before you load. We would much rather talk it through than have a driver unable to lift the container.

Prohibited Materials

Some items cannot legally go in a roll-off dumpster, and some need special handling. None of this is a trap — tell us before delivery and we will point you to the right place for it, usually at no cost to you at all.

ItemWhat to doIf found in the load
Paint, stains & coatings (liquid)Dry it out fully, or use a county household-chemical drop-off$100

These amounts cover the extra handling, transport, and licensed disposal these items require — they are not penalties, and they are the last thing we want to charge. Disclosing an item costs you nothing, and in most cases we can simply take it or tell you where it goes free. The full list and complete terms are in your Rental Agreement.

Access, Travel, and Special Situations

Our trucks are big, our routes are scheduled tight, and a wasted trip costs a whole slot on the day. These situations are uncommon, and every one of them is avoidable with a quick heads-up.

Dry Run $100

A dry run is when we dispatch a truck and cannot complete the job through no fault of ours — a car parked in the drop spot, a locked gate, low branches or wires the truck cannot clear, a permit that never came through, or an address that turns out to be wrong.

How to avoid it: clear about 60 feet of straight approach and 23 feet of overhead clearance, and make sure the spot is open on delivery day. If plans change, call us — rescheduling ahead of time is always free.

Failed Pickup $100

Same idea at the other end of the rental: the driver arrives and the container cannot be taken. Usually that is a vehicle parked in front of it, a gate locked after hours, debris piled above the rim, or a rear door that will not latch shut because material is jammed in it.

If the load is overfilled or the door is blocked and we can safely fix it on the spot, we can send a crew to clear it and get the container road-legal — that work is billed at $300 per hour with a one-hour minimum, and if it needs a machine, equipment mobilization is $400. We will always try to reach you first and give you the chance to handle it yourself instead.

How to avoid it: keep everything below the top rim, make sure the back door closes and latches, and leave the container clear on pickup day.

Long-Distance Delivery $2.50 per mile beyond 25 miles

We are based in Odessa, and the first 25 miles of travel are included in every rental — that covers most of our Tampa Bay service area at no extra cost. For jobs farther out, additional mileage is $2.50 per mile round trip.

This is calculated and shown to you before you book — it is never added afterward. If distance applies to your address, you will see it up front.

This is not a fuel surcharge and it is not applied to ordinary local jobs. It only exists so we can say yes to customers outside our normal radius instead of turning them away.

Cancellations and Changes

Plans change — we get it. Give us as much notice as you can and it costs you nothing.

When you cancelWhat it costs
More than 48 hours before your delivery dateFree — full refund
24 to 48 hours before delivery$100
Less than 24 hours before delivery, or after the truck is on its wayOne day’s rental ($299)

Rescheduling is not cancelling. If you need to move your date, call us — we will move it, and in almost every case there is no charge at all. The fees above exist because a same-day cancellation leaves a truck, a driver, and a container committed with nowhere to go.

If you finish early and want the dumpster gone ahead of schedule, just call and we will come get it. The rental is a flat rate for the service, so there is no partial-day refund — but there is also nothing extra to pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge a fuel surcharge?

No. We have never added a fuel surcharge and we do not plan to. Fuel is our cost of doing business, not a line item on your invoice.

Do you charge environmental or administrative fees?

No. No environmental fee, no regulatory recovery fee, no fuel/environmental blended fee, no paperwork or processing fee. These are common in this industry and we do not use them.

Are there hidden fees?

No — and this page is how we prove it. Every charge that can legitimately be added to a Dumpster Dogs rental is listed on this page and spelled out in your Rental Agreement. If a charge is not on this page, we do not have it.

How likely am I to pay any of this?

Most customers pay the advertised rental price and nothing else. The most common extras are simply things people ask for — an extra day, or a swap-out on a bigger project.

Will you charge me without telling me?

No. Anything beyond your rental price is explained to you, and for weight we provide the certified scale ticket on request. If something does not look right, call us — we will go through it with you.

Can I just ask before I book?

Please do. Tell us what you are throwing away, where the dumpster is going, and how long you need it, and we will tell you your all-in price before you spend a dollar.

Questions? Call before you order.

We would rather explain our pricing up front than surprise you later. Tell us about your project and we will give you the real number.
